Love Stories for Everyone
Wedding Day Photography Questions!
You're about to get some dope wedding photos.
How many photographers did we agree on in our contract?
Do you guys want "groom getting ready" photos?
Are you guys getting ready in the same general location, or separate locations? If separate, how long of a drive is it between the two?
***If we are providing only one photographer, and the groom is getting ready in a DIFFERENT location, we’ll need to figure out some logistics if you want “groom getting ready” photos. Ideally, the groom would be getting into his suit early so we can get those cool “best man helping with the bow tie” shots, and then have enough time to travel from that location, to the bride’s location. By this time, ideally, the bride would be getting hair and makeup done, or just about to get the dress on (but not till photographer gets there hopefully). Please describe below if you think we can achieve this, and what the timeline beats should be for this mission!
Ignore this question if you've booked us for two photographers!
When and where does photography coverage start?
What time does photography coverage end?
Are there any special family circumstances that we should be aware of?
How many people are in your wedding party?
If there is a first look planned, do you have any ideas of when and where you’d like to do it?
You may have already answered this in the video questionnaire, but are we doing a sunset romantics shoot?!
Minimum 20 minutes
Aside from group photos/family portraits, please list any specific photos you would REALLY like to get.
*disclaimer: We do not guarantee any photographs, but we will make it an absolute priority to capture the shots as listed below:
Do you have a pinterest collection of photos you could share with us?
When and where do you want group photos/portraits taken?
Please be advised that when it comes to formal portraits & group shots, each "setup" can take 2-3 minutes. It can also be longer if we can't find someone right away or other random delays. We will take all the photos you want, but we also want to make sure you're having fun and making time to "be at your wedding". So as you select the formal portraits you'd like below, keep in mind that 10 different portrait sets will take half an hour, 15 could take 45 minutes, etc.
Makes sense! We'll keep that in mind, and whatever we decide on, we'll build that into the final timeline.
Indicate which formal FAMILY portraits you would want taken.
Bride and Groom Together
Bride with her Family
Bride and Groom with Bride’s Family
Groom with his family
Groom and Bride with Groom’s family
Both Families together with Bride and Groom
Bride with just her parents
Groom with just his parents
Bride with just siblings
Groom with just siblings
Flower girl and/or ring bearers with bride and groom
In the space below, please give us the names (I.E. Sandra = Brides Mom, etc) of the people involved in your group portraits so that we can call on them as necessary!
Is there another combination of people we missed in the above checklist that you want to do?
Please pre-assign a family member or friend who knows the people to be in the pictures to help round them up for the formal portraits. Getting people where they need to be for the photos is by far the most time consuming part of group shots.
Please ensure the presence of all family members and/or guests involved in formal portraits. It’s also best if people who are NOT involved in these portraits are ushered to a different area during cocktail hour.
If there's anything we didn't cover in this questionnaire (or the videography questionnaire), and you'd like to just get a quick phone call in, let me know if and when you'd like to do that!
